The Sanibel Captiva Lions Club announces a donation to Community Housing Resources in the amount of $3,000.00. Bill Sartoris, Lions President, said, “The Sanibel Captiva Lions are pleased to contribute to the CHR below market rate housing program. This program helps maintain the diversity that is so important to our community.” Melissa Rice, Executive Director of CHR commented, “We are grateful for the Lions continued financial support of our mission. The support of Sanibel’s non-profits is important to maintaining the nature of the Sanibel community.”
The Sanibel Captiva Lions Club’s mission is to eliminate preventable blindness and to be of service to the Sanibel and Captiva communities. Sanibel Captiva Lions Club holds regular dinner meetings on the first and third Wednesday of the month during the year. Visiting Lions or other interested people are welcome to attend.
