Christmas Tree Fundraiser 2021

Every year, since 1976, the Sanibel Captiva Lions Club have continued the tradition of great service as they host the annual Christmas tree sale on the islands. This marks our 25th year of bringing Premium Fraser Firs, freshly cut and shipped via refrigerated trucks, from North Carolina to the islands just in time for Thanksgiving weekend. Islanders & those visiting for the holidays come to our lot to pick out that perfect tree. We have a limited number of wreaths and tree stands as well for sale.

The tree lot is located once again in the Bailey’s Center; this time at the old gas station on the Periwinkle Way side of the center. Our thanks to Richard Johnson and the Bailey family for their generous support of this annual fundraiser.

The lot will be open Wednesday through Sunday, from 10 AM to 5 PM beginning Saturday Nov 27th until we sell out of trees! We apologize, but we are not set up for credit cards or online ordering, so orders must be cash or check only. We will offer limited tree delivery on Saturdays, and on island only, for an extra charge. Ask us for more information if you need delivery.

Net proceeds from this annual fundraiser are given to a number of the local organizations the Sanibel Captiva Lions support, such as F.I.S.H., CHR, and the Children’s Education Center, as well as Southeastern Guide Dogs and Trailways Camp. We will have a poster at the site listing the charities the tree sales support.

Buy local and with the knowledge that the money is going to serve and bless others
– but do it soon because last year we were sold out by December 16th!
