36th Lions Arts & Crafts Fair Returns to Community House

The Sanibel Captiva Lions Arts & Crafts Fair returns to the Sanibel Community House for its 36th year. This indelible community event continues to attract more than 100 talented artists and crafts people from across the country. It also features silent auction and raffle items donated by generous island businesses.

“Lions are committed to community service and the money raised through the Arts & Crafts Fair support various island charities, vision and hearing based organizations and local scholarships,” said Lion Jon Ahlin, one of the fair’s organizers.

Experience a wonderful selection of two-dimensional and three-dimensional art, as well as creative crafts, inside and outside the Community House and stroll the wonderful section of raffle and silent auction items donated by generous island businesses. The opportunities to win the raffle are numerous and a bid at the silent auction may yield that perfect item.

“Purchase your raffle tickets early, so you can participate throughout the fair,” suggests Ahlin.

The fair runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, March 15, and until 4 p.m. Saturday, March 16. Admission for adults is a $5 donation and children 12 or younger enter free of charge. Parking is free and available across the street from the Community House, 2173 Periwinkle Way, or at other nearby locations.
