Lions Annual Golf Tournament
at Beachview Golf Club
January 8th, 2011
Looking forward to the 13th annual tournament.
The last Lions' tournament was a huge success, but the 12th Annual event was a little different. The weather was such that the start was moved back an hour. We didn't have to shovel snow, but it seemed cold and windy enough to be Chicago or Minneapolis.
Even with the cold weather all but 3 foresomes showed up to compete.
There was a lunch at Beachview (included for Gold Sponsors) along with various prizes and a raffle.
Money raised at this event goes toward approved Lions charitable causes, such as preventing blindness, educational scholarships, helping people in need, etc.
